President Trump Welcomes Families of Shot National Guard Soldiers to the White House

President Trump announced on Sunday that he has extended an invitation the loved ones of a National Guard member tragically killed last week to attend the presidential home.

He noted that he spoke to her parents and they were “heartbroken”.

Specialist Beckstrom, twenty years old, was killed in a attack on Wednesday in Washington DC.

Her fellow service member, Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Law enforcement have accused a 29-year-old suspect with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of violent assault while armed.
