I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
