Details of the Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021. A deputy chief CPS official stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Police Inquiry These allegations follow what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley. Spencer will appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. List of Charges The charging documents said the 45 charges include: 15 counts of assault. 17 counts of assault by penetration. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
